UK Libraries is excited to partner with the University Press of Kentucky (KY Press) to highlight scholarship from Kentucky and the Appalachian region and ensure that it is widely discoverable and freely accessible worldwide. UK Libraries will sponsor the publication of two books per year from the KY Press that will become open access titles.

185 digitized issues of La Voz de Kentucky are now freely available through the Kentucky Digital Newspaper Program and the Internet Archive. The digital preservation project drew on unique partnerships and the efforts of experts, specialists, and technicians from across UK Libraries.

The event will also showcase the many resources and collections at UK Libraries that support research in the field of gender and sexuality studies.
