MCL Research Workshops

Our Medical Center Library Research Workshop Series offers seminars throughout the spring and fall semesters to help students and researchers improve and expand their research skills and make more efficient use of library resources.

Workshops include:

  • Introductory tutorials for tools, resources, and software used in health sciences research
  • In-depth guidance and advanced search training for popular databases
  • Extensive coverage of systematic reviews and other evidence synthesis projects

Digital Scholarship & Data Instruction

The Stacks: Digital Scholarship Center offers periodic virtual and in-person workshops and tutorials to help orient and guide both new and advanced users through digital scholarship and data management practices. They include: 

  • Introductory tutorials covering tools, resources, and software used in digital scholarship projects
  • Workshops highlighting digital project best practices, tools, and methods
  • Data management tips and techniques across every stage of the research lifecycle
