Located on the Ground Floor of the King Library Annex, The Stacks provides specialized equipment and spaces to support the digital scholarship and data initiatives of the UK community, including:

  • Reservable collaboration and meeting spaces
  • Reconfigurable consultation, instruction, and presentation spaces
  • An interactive visualization wall
  • Robust desktop computers with specialized software for digital projects
  • A variety of open seating options for individual or group work

Digital Workspace

Four computer workstations with high-end graphics cards, robust processing power, and specialized software for data analysis and digital projects.

Collaboration Rooms

Private collaboration rooms for group project work, with large monitors and cameras and microphones for hybrid and virtual collaborations.

Presentation Space

A large open area with configurable furniture, large interactive monitors, and a floor-to-ceiling video wall for collaborative work, instruction, or presentations.

Screencasting in The Stacks

The Collage app allows for easy wireless screencasting from your device to monitors in The Stacks. 

Screencasting is also possible via AirPlay, Chromecast, and HDMI.
