Planning is underway for a full-scale, multi-year renovation of the Margaret I. King Library building to begin Fall 2026. The project will affect access to services at both the Special Collections Research Center and the King Library Annex. We’re excited for the opportunity to modernize this central campus landmark and appreciate your patience as we work to relocate library resources and services while renovations are in progress.

To prepare for this project, the facility will be closed to the public at the end of the spring semester and remain closed for the duration of the renovation. Modifications to some service points have already been implemented. Additional information on affected services is provided below. We’ll continue to update this page as information about the project becomes available.
