On June 12, the University of Kentucky will update the Single Sign On service used to access sites and applications across campus.
The change will affect a variety of UK Libraries systems, including InfoKat and the OpenAthens platform, which manages access to databases, electronic journals, and other subscription resources.
When logging in, users will encounter a new sign on screen and will be prompted to perform steps for multi-factor authentication through the Duo system. The change will increase security and create a uniform login experience across all university applications.
Users will continue to use their linkblue credentials to sign in, and the change will require no additional setup by the user.
More information about the change, including screenshots of the new login interface, is available through the UK Technology Help Center.
