UK Libraries is excited to celebrate Love Data Week, Feb. 12–16.
All week long we’ll be hosting online and in-person events in William T. Young Library, including a film screening, a Data Visualization Date Night, and workshops for researchers at any stage in their data journey.
The events will provide an opportunity for UK students, faculty, and staff to meet their research data librarians and learn about library services that support the creation, sharing, and management of research data.
Whether you want to learn about data resources and best practices, dive into application programming interfaces (APIs) or digital humanities, or build a research community and meet other data enthusiasts, Love Data Week has you covered.
If you’re feeling lucky, don’t forget to enter our ORCID iD lottery for a chance to win UK Libraries-branded prizes. If you don’t have an ORCID iD – a persistent digital identifier that creates a permanent record of your research and scholarly contributions – visit the lottery page to learn how to register for one for free.
Follow the links below for more information about each of our events, including registration information for online workshops.

Love Data Week is an international celebration of data hosted by the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) that raises awareness and builds community around research data. This year, Love Data Week is focusing on helping new and seasoned data users find the training and resources they need.
