Have you always wanted to learn to program but never had the chance?
Research Data Librarian Isaac Wink is offering three workshops in September to help you get acquainted with the basics of Python and learn how it can be used for reproducible research. Sessions will provide guided instruction on key concepts and resources to help you hone your coding skills and continue your independent learning.
The in-person workshops will take place in The Stacks: Digital Scholarship Center on the first three Tuesdays in September.
No prior coding experience is necessary for the first workshop but is recommended for the second and third.
The series is held in partnership with UK’s Center for Computational Sciences (CCS). Lessons will be hosted via CCS’s high-performance computing cluster. Along the way, participants will learn more about accessing and using CCS’s resources.
