Helene Gold (she/her) is the STEM Librarian at UKY Libraries. She holds an MLS from SUNY Albany and an MEd from the University of South Florida. She specializes in Critical Information Literacy curriculum design, instruction, and assessment, STEM librarianship, instructional technology and online learning, and student engagement and outreach. She has published and presented on topics such as library leadership challenges, developing information literacy curriculum for first-year STEM students, web design/development, and using various EdTech tools and platforms. When she's not welcoming students into the scholarly conversation and supporting researchers, she enjoys baking, birding, and nature wandering.
