UK Libraries offers dedicated services and spaces for graduate students and faculty to work and research.

Faculty Carrels & Study Rooms: Individual carrels and group study rooms located on the Fourth Floor of William T. Young Library furnish quiet study space to faculty in convenient proximity to research materials. Keys and storage lockers are provided.

Doctoral Student Study Rooms: Six large study rooms on the Fifth Floor of Young Library are available to doctoral students writing their dissertations. Each room may be shared by up to 12 people, and room assignments span the academic year. Keys and storage lockers are provided.

Thomas D. Clark Graduate Study

A study space exclusively for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows and scholars on the Fifth Floor of Young Library, the Clark Study includes:

  • Study bays
  • Private study pods
  • Reading chairs
  • A large table for group work
