Lisa is both a certified K12 teacher and an academic librarian. She has more than 15 years of classroom experience teaching English/ELA and ESL in Illinois and Kentucky public schools. She also has 10 years of academic library experience, working primarily in reference and instructional services.

Lisa provides support for students, faculty, and staff in all academic departments in the College of Education. She specializes in research instruction and information literacy. Whether teaching a large group session or working one-on-one, her goal is always the same: to ensure that everyone walks away feeling that their time together has been productive, informative, engaging, and useful.

In her free time, she enjoys crafting, reading literary fiction, hanging out with her family, walking her dog, and eating desserts.
