Lisa Nichols, MATESL/MSLIS (she/her) Director, Education Library

Lisa is both a certified K12 teacher and an academic librarian. She has more than 15 years of classroom experience teaching English/ELA and ESL in Illinois and Kentucky public schools. She also has more than 10 years of academic library experience, primarily in reference and instructional services and management. 

 

Serving all academic departments in the College of Education, Lisa works closely with students, faculty, and staff to support their research and learning needs. Whether teaching a class, leading a workshop, or meeting individually with researchers, she focuses on delivering practical and engaging research guidance to help others achieve their goals.
 

In her free time, she enjoys sewing and crafting, reading literary fiction, hanging out with her family, walking her dog, and eating desserts.
