A new open educational resource (OER) has been published through UK Libraries' OER Grant Program!
The Handbook for the Recently Admitted, written by Priscila Llamosa, is a practical guide for students in the Doctor of Social Work program, providing information on what to expect and how to succeed. Like all OER, this book is freely available to all readers and can be adapted to suit other programs.

Potential applicants to the grant program can also attend one of three informal information sessions that will be held virtually through the early spring semester. These sessions have no presentation component and potential applicants are invited to drop-in at any time during the hour to ask questions or get feedback on project ideas.
The application period for the 2025-26 grant cycle will open February 1.
