As a University of Kentucky Voluntary Faculty member you have access to UK Libraries licensed electronic resources.

Once your Voluntary Faculty appointment is confirmed and you have obtained your linkblue account from the College that secures your appointment (or in some cases the AHEC office), contact us at to set up your library account.

We will need the following information:

  • your linkblue ID
  • your UK ID 8 digit number (if known)
  • your email address
  • your mailing address

It generally takes 24 hours (excluding weekends) to set up accounts, and we will send an email to let you know our progress.

Please note: Library accounts will expire when your Voluntary Faculty appointment expires. If you are re-appointed, simply contact us to update your account and restore access.
