Karyn Hinkle is the acting director of the Fine Arts & Design Library at the University of Kentucky Libraries. She has worked as an arts librarian for over 15 years, including positions at the Pratt Institute, where she attended graduate school; the Brooklyn Museum Libraries and Archives; the Bard Graduate Center for Studies in the Decorative Arts, Design History, and Material Culture; and Northwestern University. Her work focuses on collecting library materials for arts research, and on outreach and engagement with art libraries.
