Adriana teaches information literacy and supports research across classrooms and libraries. They enjoy helping students and faculty across disciplines navigate the research process and library resources.

Adriana earned their Ph.D. from the University of Kentucky. Their dissertation examined the evolution of lesbian identity and community building by placing internet discourse and oral history interviews in conversation. They also hold a Master’s in Library Science and a Graduate Certificate in College Teaching & Learning.

Their research interests include public and oral history, community-centered archival work, and the preservation of diverse historical voices. They have worked on multiple oral history initiatives.

Outside of work, Adriana enjoys spending time with their excessively friendly cat, listening to K-pop, and playing games.
