The John G. Heyburn II Initiative for Excellence in the Federal Judiciary is a national, non-partisan program devoted to improving the federal judiciary system, with a particular focus on Kentuckians’ contributions to American legal discourse. The archival collections and oral history interviews that anchor the Heyburn Initiative document Kentuckians that have served in the federal judiciary and provide insights into the interactions between the three branches of the federal government.
