Humanities

UK Libraries supports teaching and research across the humanities by providing access to print collections, databases, and other electronic resources, including:

• E-books and general and specialized journals
• Major bibliographical and reference sources
• Government agency and other organizational resources
• Indexing and abstracting tools

Special Collections in the Humanities

We also provide access to rare and unique collections to support research in the humanities, including:

• Rare books and an extensive Science Fiction & Fantasy Book Collection
• Hispanic Studies Special Collections including family papers and correspondence from the Texas Revolution, US-Mexican War, and Spanish-American War; Manuscript Documents from Spain; and oral histories from Hispanic immigrants and Latin American communities in Lexington
