Access e-Resources Instructions (EZproxy Help)
EZproxy (for access to licensed databases and other electronic resources).
How to use EZproxy
The University of Kentucky Library's electronic resources are licensed for the noncommercial, educational and research use of current University of Kentucky students and employees. To use EZproxy begin by clicking a UK Libraries' web link from the Library's website, InfoKat Discovery, Research Guides or "View Now @ UK" button. While off-campus current UK personnel will be prompted by EZproxy to enter your UK link blue ID and password. People not affiliated with UK may only access these resources from within a UK Library.
For help or questions about using EZproxy, contact us at email@example.com. Medical Center users may also get help by sending e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. Once you successfully log in, you will have access to restricted resources throughout your browser session.
The EZproxy system allows off-campus access to electronic information resources that are restricted to current UK students, staff, and faculty. Systematic downloads, distribution or long-term storage of substantial portions of information is prohibited. By using these products you are agreeing to the terms and conditions for the use of electronic resources. If you use these resources from a computer on the UK network you may currently access the resources without logging in, but your access must be routed through EZproxy by starting on a Library site or saving short cuts or links after starting from a Library site.
