Wendell FordThe UK Libraries Wendell H. Ford Public Policy Research Center supports access to primary source materials pertaining to public policy, politics, and Congress.  The Ford Center strives to promote research and programming and also provides UK faculty involved in teaching and research in these areas the opportunity to work closely with the Ford Center on specific or general topics.  The Ford Center also develops public and educational programming and exhibits.  UK Libraries Ford Center works collaboratively with the UK Martin School of Public Policy & Administration and also with the Wendell H. Ford Government Education Center.

The Wendell H. Ford Government Education Center in Owensboro, Kentucky was founded by U.S. Senator (retired) Wendell Hampton Ford.  It is dedicated to engaging citizens of all ages in the governmental process. Visitors can learn about Senator Ford’s long career in local, state and national government while learning about our dynamic, participatory form of governance by visiting the center.
