Doctoral Student Study Rooms
Introduction
There are six multi-person study rooms on the 5th floor in William T. Young Library available for use by doctoral students engaged in writing their dissertations. These large study rooms are shared by a maximum of 12 people. Doctoral students assigned to the multi-person study rooms are given a key and assigned a locker in which to store materials. Study room assignments run through the end of the academic year assigned.
Eligibility requirements:
- MUST be enrolled in doctoral degree or equivalent degree program
- MUST be engaged in the writing phase of the dissertation program
- MUST present a letter, typed on University of Kentucky letterhead stationery and signed by the department chairperson, identifying the student and attesting to the fact that the student meets the above conditions
