The Lucille Caudill Little Fine Arts Library houses around 140,000 bound volumes and over 30,000 audiovisual materials about music, art, and theatre. The Library subscribes to approximately 120 periodicals in print and provides access to thousands of others through online subscription databases and other resources.

There are PC computer stations with access to printing services, many tables and carrels located across several reading rooms for quiet study, and eight group study rooms available for use on a first come basis or by advance reservation.

The Lucille Caudill Little Fine Arts Library opened Oct. 2, 2000, combining the collections and services of the former Edward Rannells Art Library and the Adelle G. Dailey Music Library and Media Center. It is also the home of the John Jacob Niles Center for American Music, which is a collaboration between UK Libraries and the College of Fine Arts School of Music.
