REVISIONS OF STATE PLAN FOR KENTUCKY FDLs

Approval, Review, and Revision Procedures for the Kentucky State Plan for Federal Depository Library Services

The Regional Depository Librarian shall assure that the State Plan is reviewed every five years or as needed. When revisions are required, based on the review, or at the request of any depository librarian, the Regional Depository Librarian shall appoint a committee to revise the State Plan. The Regional Depository Librarian shall then submit the written revisions to all depository librarians for their review and comment.

These comments shall be forwarded to the Regional Depository Librarian for incorporation into the final revisions of the State Plan. A copy of the revised State Plan will then be made available to all depository librarians and depository library directors for their approval.

In order to meet the goals of the Kentucky State Plan for Federal Depository LibraryL Services, all depository librarians and depository library directors will be asked to sign an agreement indicating their willingness to support the State Plan. A copy of the signed agreement shall be returned to the Regional Depository Librarian who shall forward all the agreements and a copy of the revised State Plan to the Superintendent of Documents at the U.S. Government Printing Office.

The Regional Depository Librarian may update the link to and contents of Section III, the description of the Federal Depository Library community in Kentucky, without going through the aforementioned revision process.
