|MD Anderson Manual of Medical Oncology|
Although it was written primarily from the perspective of the medical oncologist, emphasis is on MD Anderson's multidisciplinary approach to cancer care. Some details of radiation therapy and surgery covered in other subspecialty textbooks, however, have not been included. Tabulated data and graphics, pathology figures, and illustrative imaging are included. Contributing authors have supplied algorithms in the form of flowcharts and diagrams to provide readers with a practical guide to the diagnostic and therapeutic strategies used at MD Anderson. 2006.
