How to borrow library materials
Bring items to the Circulation Desk at the owning library along with a valid UK WildCard Student ID or current UK library card. No other form of ID will be accepted.
You may view your library record as well as renew books online by going to My Account from InfoKat Discovery, the Libraries' online catalog and Discovery system. Sign in from the My Account page. UK students, faculty and staff will sign in using your LinkBlue credentials. BCTC, Community, Reciprocal and other non-UK borrowers will use their library barcode as user name and password given to you as your library record was created. If you do not have a password, stop by any library or call 859-218-1881 or 859-218-1899 to have your password reset. Tips: Both Username and password are case sensitive. Do not leave spaces when typing in your library barcode. If there is a letter(s) at the end of your barcode, type this in using upper case.
Once logged in, a screen will appear with 'Active Loans' on your record. You may click 'Renew All' or click in the boxes of items you wish to renew and click on 'Renew Selected.' Please pay attention to the due date to ensure the item was renewed.

If you still have need of an item after the last renewal, bring the book back to the library.
