Confirmed Open: William T. Young Library will open at 10 am and will close at 8 pm on Friday, March 6th. Normal hours to resume on Saturday, March 7th.

Confirmed Closed March 6th: Agricultural Information Center, Design, Education, Little Fine Arts, Medical Center, Morris, Science, Special Collections Research Center, Shaver Engineering, and Transportation.

How to use EZproxy

The University of Kentucky Library's electronic resources are licensed for the noncommercial, educational and research use of current UK students and employees when they are off campus.  To use EZproxy begin by clicking a UK Libraries' web link from the Library's website, E-Books, E-Journals, InfoKat or Research Guides, and you will be prompted by EZproxy to enter your UK link blue ID and password. 


For help or questions about using EZproxy, contact us at Medical Center users may also get help by sending e-mail to Once you successfully log in, you will have access to restricted resources throughout your browser session. 


The EZproxy system allows off-campus access to electronic information resources that are restricted to current UK students, staff, and faculty.  Systematic downloads, distribution or long-term storage of substantial portions of information is prohibited. By using these products you are agreeing to the terms and conditions for the use of electronic resources. If you use these resources from a computer on the UK network you can access the resources without EZproxy. EZproxy allows your off-campus computer to be identified as part of the UK network.
