Russian Tea

The Soviet Cold War Poster Exhibit, located in Core 1 of the Hub, in the William T. Young Library opened on February 6, 2013.  Gordon Hogg, Director of UK Libraries SpecialCollections Library opened the program by introducing Karen Petrone, Chair of the History Department who made a few remarks on the significance of the exhibit.  Following some remaks by Cynthia Ruda of Russian Studies, the attendees were invited to partake of an authentic Russian tea organized by the UK Russian Club.  The attendees enjoyed brewed Russian tea and authentic Russian food with  club members on hand to explain the customs and food of the Russian people.
