International Conversation Hour: UK's Writing Center, housed on the 5th floor of Young Library, offers international students an opportunity to practice their English speaking skills every Wednesday night from 6 to 8 p.m. The Writing Center also offers assistance with composition of papers. |

Laptops with On Screen Keyboard: UK Libraries offers 4 laptops that have the virtual keyboard capability. This keyboard allows you to type in non Roman alphabets. The laptops are available for checkout in the Media Library in the Basement of Young Library. Library Support for ESL Students: UK Libraries has been working with A&S 100, Enhancing College Writing & Communication Skills for International Students, to provide basic library information and skills to ESL students. The program includes an in-class presentation with a basic introduction to research along with a tour of the library, overview of policies, and how to use many of the library products and services.
