SLA Student Chapter Hosts Information Literacy Lunch & Learn April 4
On Tuesday 4/4 from noon-1:30 in the Niles Gallery, the Student Chapter of Special Libraries Association will be hosting a topical discussion on Information Literacy in the Era of Fake News. Four speakers will share their experiences with combatting fake news, teaching critical thinking skills, and educating others on how to spot fake news and biases. Our speakers include Dr. Shannon Oltmann, Jen Bartlett, Debbie Sharp, and Sue Smith. Please see the attached flyer.
SLA will provide the pizza! You bring your own beverage and all your questions! Stay for the entire session, or pop-in and join us as you can! This event is open to the campus community so please invite your colleagues! If you plan to attend, please RSVP at http://bit.ly/2nohABi so that we have an idea as to how many pizzas we need to order.
To attend virtually through Zoom: https://uky.zoom.us/j/267130263
