Study Rooms

Introduction

Six study rooms in the Science & Engineering Library are available to UK students, faculty, and staff on a first come, first served basis. The rooms, which seat 4-6 people, are each equipped with data connections and a dry erase board. Dry erase marker sets may be checked out with UK ID at the Circulation Desk. Study Room 310C has a projector and pull-down screen. Remote Control and VGA cord may be checked out at the Circulation Desk. A seventh room, Meeting Room 310K which seats eight, is available by reservation only for meetings by UK sanctioned groups. 310K is not available for study, exam prep, or course-related projects. The meeting room has a whiteboard, a projector, and a SmartBoard. In order to use Meeting Room 310K, please make a reservation by using the online request form.

Science Library Home page

The UK Science & Engineering Library houses the physics, astronomy, chemistry, engineering, math, statistics, and geology collections. It is also home to the largest map collection of its kind in the state of Kentucky with approximately 242,000 paper maps and aerial photographs. The Science & Engineering Library staff offer reference support, information literacy instruction, research help, course reserves, circulation, and library express (Interlibrary Loan, Book Express, and Article Express). The UK Science & Engineering Library serves UK students, faculty, staff, and the commonwealth of Kentucky.
