Full-text resources include the entire contents of books and journals that can be read electronically from computers located at work, at home or on the road. Information on several key full-text resources is presented in this class:
- MD Consult provides full-text access to a combination of medical reference books, medical journals, drug information, clinical practice guidelines, patient education information, and continuing education credit.
- Academic Search (LexisNexis/ProQuest) provides access to nearly 5,000 publications (most full-text, the rest abstracted) covering news and financial, medical, and legal information.
- E-Journals Database provides information on and links to the UK Libraries' list of online full-text journals.
Take advantage of the hands-on practice time with instructors who can help you with class exercises or your own research topics.
