In addition to the general guidelines, please follow these guidelines when putting journal articles on reserve.
All articles can go in one binder, but you MUST provide:
a divider between each article
a complete citation for the journal article either on the divider page or on a separate sheet of paper in front of each article (This divider page/citation page is kept with the article whenever the article is placed on reserve so the MCL can track its use and note permission for repeated use (first time use is considered fair use)).
an indication if this is a first time use or if the article has been on reserve previously.

UK faculty, staff and students use their UK Wildcard as their library card. Persons not affiliated with UK may obtain a library card if they are 18 years of age and present a valid Kentucky driver's license or a valid non-driver ID. Faculty, staff, and students from reciprocal colleges and universities in Kentucky may obtain a UK library card with proper identification. Anyone with a UK library card may check out materials in the Medical Center Library or any UK campus library.
The Medical Center Library sends library notices via e-mail.
If a book, journal, or audiovisual you need is checked out, you may place a hold on it so that when it is returned to the Medical Center Library it will be held at the User Services desk for you. You will be notified when it is available.
Contact Genia Kempster if you have questions about placing a hold on library materials or for any questions related to borrowing library materials.
