Staff can assist users by locating answers to specific questions or by explaining the use of InfoKat Discovery, other electronic resources and databases, journal indexes, and other reference material. They will also assist users in verifying and locating the Libraries' periodicals holdings. in addition, Reference staff will refer users to other departments and libraries who have specialized knowledge and collections in other locations, both in UK libraries and throughout the world. For more information on periodicals, newspapers and microforms, see the Periodicals website.

The Reference Services staff will also schedule library tours and/or instructional/information literacy sessions for classes and other campus groups. Online request forms are available to schedule a tour or schedule an instructional session. For individual consultations or for sessions for groups of three or fewer, use this Consultation Request Form. If you prefer to use self-directed training aids, see the Research Guides pages.
