UK faculty, staff and students use their UK Wildcard as their library card. Persons not affiliated with UK may obtain a library card if they are 18 years of age and present a valid Kentucky driver's license or a valid non-driver ID. Faculty, staff, and students from reciprocal colleges and universities in Kentucky may obtain a UK library card with proper identification. Anyone with a UK library card may check out materials in the Medical Center Library or any UK campus library.

If a book, journal, or audiovisual you need is checked out, you may place a hold on it so that when it is returned to the Medical Center Library it will be held at the User Services desk for you. You will be notified when it is available.
