Description:

Since 1950, Jefferson's writings have been compiled in this ongoing project, bringing together all 36 volumes published through 2009 into one searchable online resource. In addition, it includes the first four volumes of the Retirement Series sponsored by the Thomas Jefferson Foundation, which documents the time between Jefferson’s return to private life and his death in 1826. This XML-based edition includes all the illustrations and bibliographical content of the print edition, along with linked cross-references and indexes. Barbara B. Oberg and J. Electronic version of the first edition of Jacques-Paul Migne's Patrologia Latina, published between 1844 and 1855, and the four volumes of indexes published between 1862 and 1865. Presents the works of the Church Fathers from Tertullian in 200 AD to the death of Pope Innocent III in 1216. Provides full display of diacritics and Greek keyword searching. Also includes a cross-searchable facility allowing users to find entries on search terms and texts that are included in both Patrologia Latina and Acta Sanctorum in one search. Requires the use of browsers Netscape 6.0 or higher, or Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher.

Searchable digitized collection of all surviving editions of the Old Bailey Proceedings from 1674 to 1913 and of the Ordinary of Newgate's Accounts between 1676 and 1772. Access to over 197,000 trials and biographical details of approximately 2,500 men and women executed at Tyburn. Includes digital images of all 190,000 original pages of the Proceedings, 4,000 pages of Ordinary's Accounts, information on the historical and legal background to the Old Bailey court and its Proceedings, and descriptions of published and manuscript materials relating to the trials covered. Contemporary maps and images have also been provided.
